Estrada Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Integration Engineer to support implementation of a secure Integration Hub for a public-sector justice environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop system-to-system integrations using APIs, messaging, middleware, and file-based interfaces.
- Develop and support REST APIs, XML/JSON transformations, routing, orchestration, and error handling.
- Implement event-driven integrations using queues, message brokers, or publish/subscribe technologies.
- Develop and support NIEM Justice Domain-compliant data exchanges.
- Perform data mapping, schema validation, transformation, and interface testing.
- Integrate justice-related systems such as court/case management, e-filing, document management, financial systems, public portals, and state/federal partner systems.
- Configure logging, monitoring, alerting, retry, and failed-message processing.
- Prepare technical/interface documentation and support testing and deployment activities.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of systems integration, middleware, API development, or enterprise integration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, XML, JSON, data mapping, and transformation.
- Experience with middleware, API gateways, message brokers, or event-driven architecture.
- Experience with secure integrations using OAuth2/OIDC, TLS, or similar technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and SQL skills.
Highly Preferred:
- Hands-on NIEM / NIEM Justice Domain experience.
- Experience developing or supporting IEPDs.
- Court, law enforcement, corrections, prosecutor, jail, or other justice-system integration experience.
- Experience with CJIS-regulated environments.
- Experience with platforms such as Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, IBM, Boomi, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
