The Software Engineer designs, builds, and optimizes software systems, APIs, and websites that power critical business operations across the organization. In this senior individual-contributor role, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-based applications and integrations, applying strong software engineering practices and modern DevOps principles. Your technical depth, problem-solving ability, and collaboration skills will help evolve the company’s digital foundation, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational.

Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and Angular web applications.
Build scalable cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure.

Develop and optimize SQL Server database objects, queries, and data access patterns.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

Translate user stories into well-designed, maintainable software solutions.
Apply software engineering best practices including clean code, modular design, secure development, and automated testing.
Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to continuously improve code quality.
Troubleshoot production issues, resolve defects, and contribute to system reliability and operational excellence.
Contribute to application modernization initiatives and technical debt reduction efforts.
Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection practices.
Support application monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization.

Working Conditions
Full-time position based at Groundworks’ corporate office in Irving, TX.
Collaborative, fast-paced work environment requiring adaptability and effective time management.
Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, training, or industry conferences.
This role has a base salary range between $100,000- $125,000. Salary is based on candidate experience.
