Lead Specialist – Talent Acquisition
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Talent Acquisition team at Marsh. This role will be based in Gurgaon / Mumbai / Pune. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Lead Specialist - Talent Acquisition to join our team on a 12-month contract and lead Technology hiring across key business mandates.
This role is ideal for a talent acquisition professional with a strong track record in hiring for technology roles, including niche and specialized skill sets across engineering, digital, data, analytics, cloud, enterprise applications, automation, and emerging technologies.
You will partner closely with TA leaders and business stakeholders to execute hiring strategies, deliver high-quality talent pipelines, and manage end-to-end recruitment for technology mandates in a time- and cost-sensitive environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong self-sourcing capability, market intelligence, stakeholder management, recruitment analytics, and hands-on experience in leveraging AI-powered tools and features to enhance recruitment outcomes and drive recruiter efficiency.
Please note: This role requires strong direct sourcing capability, as we do not engage external hiring partners for these mandates.

- You will be expected to combine deep technology recruitment expertise with innovative sourcing approaches, data-driven decision-making, and the smart use of recruitment technology and AI.
We Will Count on You To:
End-to-End Technology Recruitment
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technology roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, stakeholder alignment, and offer management.
- Independently drive hiring for a wide range of technology mandates, including niche, hard-to-fill, and specialized roles.
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using direct sourcing, digital channels, talent mapping, and cost-effective recruitment platforms.
- Build strong pipelines for roles across areas such as software engineering, data and analytics, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, enterprise applications, digital transformation, automation, and AI/ML.
- Ensure hiring mandates are closed within agreed timelines while maintaining quality, process compliance, and candidate experience.
- Continuously improve recruitment outcomes across key metrics including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and cost efficiency.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand technical hiring needs and translate them into effective recruitment strategies.
- Act as a trusted Talent Acquisition advisor for technology hiring, offering market insights and practical recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring stakeholders and candidates.
- Lead initiatives to enhance stakeholder and candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Market Intelligence & Talent Mapping
- Conduct talent mapping and market research to understand the availability of technology talent, competitor activity, compensation trends, and emerging skill sets.
- Provide meaningful market intelligence to support hiring decisions and workforce planning.
- Stay updated on trends in technology hiring, digital talent demand, and best practices in recruiting specialized technical talent.
- Share innovative sourcing strategies and market insights to attract high-quality talent in competitive skill areas.
Recruitment Technology, AI & Reporting
- Leverage recruitment technologies, sourcing platforms, and AI-enabled tools/features to improve talent discovery, search quality, screening efficiency, candidate engagement, and overall recruiter productivity.
- Use AI in the recruitment process for activities such as talent mapping, Boolean/search optimization, profile assessment, outreach enhancement, and workflow efficiency.
- Prepare accurate and timely MIS, dashboards, reports, and presentations for business and TA leadership.
- Use recruitment data and analytics to continuously optimize sourcing and hiring strategies.
What You Need to Have:
- 8+ years of experience in end-to-end recruitment, with a strong focus on technology hiring.
- Proven experience hiring for a broad range of technology roles, including niche and specialized skill sets.
- Strong understanding of technology skill landscapes and hiring across areas such as engineering, cloud, data, analytics, digital, automation, enterprise technology, and emerging tech roles.
- Proven expertise in using sourcing tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent databases, and social media.
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI in the recruitment process is a must-have, including the use of AI-powered sourcing, search, screening, talent mapping, outreach, or productivity tools to improve hiring outcomes.
- Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and the ability to use data to drive sourcing and hiring strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility with hiring managers and candidates.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid experience using job portals, digital channels, and social media to attract technology talent.
- Ability to manage robust real-time MIS, dashboards, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong influencing, execution, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience hiring within professional services, consulting, shared services, GCCs, or similar industries.
- Experience working with Workday CRM.
- Exposure to recruitment reporting, hiring analytics, and process improvement initiatives.
