Business Development Manager - West Coast
Join Solenis as a Business Development Manager and play a key role in growing our presence across the Pulp & Paper and Water markets. This is a high-impact role focused on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market share throughout the West Coast region.
We're seeking a senior industry professional with deep paper mill operations experience, a strong commercial mindset, and a proven track record of driving business growth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow market share across the West Coast
- Identify and secure new customer opportunities within the Pulp & Paper industry
- Build relationships with executive-level stakeholders and strategic customers
- Partner with Account Managers, Marketing, and Technology teams to bring innovative solutions to market
- Lead customer acquisition efforts and support new product introductions
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities
- Develop territory plans, prioritize target accounts, and drive revenue growth
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by connecting operational challenges with Solenis solutions
What You'll Bring
- Significant experience within the Pulp & Paper industry
- Strong understanding of mill operations, pulping processes, and paper manufacturing
- Proven success in a leadership role such as Superintendent, Operations Manager, Mill Manager, or similar
- Demonstrated ability to improve operational performance and profitability within paper mill environments
- Successful track record of selling into the paper industry and developing customer relationships
- Strong business development, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
- Chemical industry experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and industry experience

The expected compensation range for this position is between $117,510.00 and $172,337.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
