Description
Eaton’s Power Distribution and Control Assemblies (PDCA) Division is currently seeking a Senior HR Generalist for our growing Greenwood, SC manufacturing facility. This position will be on-site two different locations. Relocation assistance is available!
The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

## What you’ll do:
The Senior HR Generalist reports to the site HR Supervisor and is responsible for planning, developing, and administering a variety of site HR programs, including employment, wage and salary administration, employee relations, employee communications, employee training and staff development, benefits, and other related human resources activities. This position coordinates and monitors HR activities to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines, as well as Eaton corporate human resources policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Talent Management: Partner with Operations and functional teams to attract, select, and retain the talent needed to meet current and future business needs. Understand the business environment and workforce plans, including competitors, growth, technology, and related factors, to anticipate talent requirements. Support key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, job changes, transfers, leaves of absence, performance management activities, separations, and offboarding, in partnership with site leadership and centralized HR teams. Conduct general or role-specific training sessions as needed.
- Compliance and Policy Administration: Support compliance with applicable employment laws, company policies, and internal procedures. Assist with maintaining required documentation, preparing for internal and external audits, and ensuring consistent application of HR policies across the site.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a key point of contact for employees and leaders, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of HR matters while promoting Eaton values. Support a positive work environment through employee relations activities, including coaching and mentoring supervisors and frontline employees, conducting site investigations, resolving interpersonal conflicts, and interpreting HR policies and practices. Lead and support employee engagement activities, including site events, recognition programs, team-building activities, and All Employee Meetings.
- Total Compensation: Serve as a local subject matter expert for employee benefits and payroll questions, coordinating with centralized HR service center and payroll teams as needed. Coordinate benefits enrollment meetings, communications, and related processes. Assist the site HR Supervisor with local compensation activities for both salaried and hourly employees, including benchmarking against Eaton and external marketplace data.
- Projects and Analytics: Assist with special projects as needed, including ongoing continuous improvement of HR processes. Analyze workforce trends and labor market data and provide insights to support business decisions. Collaborate with HR Services on transactional HR matters, maintain accurate HR data, and complete audits for various HR functions.

## Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in: Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in Human Resources or a related function (such as communications, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, talent management, or organizational effectiveness)
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in human resources, labor relations, or business administration from an accredited institution.
- Two or more years of HR experience in a manufacturing plant or operations environment.
- Previous experience leading employee relations activities.
