Reporting directly to the Superintendent – Fixed Plant Maintenance Planning & Reliability, the Planning Scheduler is responsible for the scheduling, coordination, and continuous improvement of maintenance activities for fixed plant assets within the processing operation. This position ensures maintenance work is effectively prioritized, resourced, and scheduled to maximize equipment availability, reliability, safety, and production performance.The role works collaboratively with operations, maintenance, reliability, supply chain, and technical services teams to develop short and long-term maintenance plans while ensuring compliance with company standards, statutory requirements, and safety regulations.

Schedule: Eight (8) Days On/Six (6) Days Off
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain 4 – active weekly maintenance schedules, for multiple trade disciplines• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure maintenance schedules are communicated and executed effectively and safely• Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with OEM recommendations and site maintenance strategies.• Monitor schedule compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.• Maintain asset information, work orders, and maintenance plans within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as SAP, Pronto, Ellipse, or IBM Maximo. • Ensure maintenance records are complete, accurate, and up to date. • Coordinate and Conduct Weekly Schedule Meetings• Contribute to developing reports and KPIs related to maintenance planning and scheduling performance.• Ensure all maintenance plans incorporate site safety standards, risk assessments, and isolation requirements. • Promote a strong safety culture aligned with company values.• May be required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties.
Qualifications
• 2 years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience is desirable but not necessary. • Experience using CMMS systems (Pronto preferred) is desirable but not necessary. • Proficient computer skills, including competency in using Microsoft Office products.• Strong understanding of fixed plant equipment and maintenance practices.• Gold mining or mineral processing experience would be an asset.• Demonstrate knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements specific to remote sites• Exhibit effective time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities concurrently.• Class 5 driver’s license.• Willingness to learn new work processes in a high paced industrial setting.

• Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 1 week on 1 week off rotation.• Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team.• Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift.• Strong organizational and planning skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Ability to prioritize competing maintenance requirements. • Analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation. • Data analysis and reporting capabilities. • Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
