Description
The Role
Our client is a well established Dublin based non profit working to make Irish workplaces more inclusive, respectful and equitable.
As they expand their reach, they are now hiring a Business Development Manager to lead on planning and unlocking new B2B revenue streams for the organisation. You will report directly to the CEO and be an important part of a small, values driven team.
This is a 3 - 4 day a week role with hybrid offering.
Contract is for 23 months and may be extended
What You Will Be Doing
- Generating revenue by selling workshops to other organisations, growing community membership, and securing paid speaking engagements that build the organisation's thought leadership and advocacy in the gender equity space.
- Driving income through tailored corporate sponsorship for events, including media profile and branding opportunities, and growing ticket sales for corporate gatherings.
- Reviewing the existing product portfolio and current pipeline opportunities.
- Building out business development processes, client segmentation, sectoral maps, and sales pipelines.
- Preparing business development reports and presenting these to the CEO.
- Mapping out plans for expanded employer community membership.
- Identifying and converting expansion opportunities within existing partnerships, keeping everything aligned with the organisation's wider goals.
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
What You Will Bring
- 8 to 10 years' experience in business development, with a proven track record of driving B2B revenue growth.
- A natural collaborator, comfortable working with others towards a shared goal.
- Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, with accuracy and attention to detail as second nature.
- A solid general understanding of the B2B communications and PR landscape.
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel, Word and Office 365, and comfort working across platforms such as Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and ChatGPT.
- A self starter, motivated to work independently or as part of a team, and able to hit agreed goals and timeframes.
- Good time management, with the flexibility to adapt your approach as needed.
- Willingness to travel within Ireland as required.
