Demonstrated ability to assess, quantify, and manage data architecture risk, including data duplication, inconsistent definitions, poor data quality, weak lineage, unclear ownership, and fragmented analytical platforms.
Practical experience with data warehouse and lakehouse architecture patterns, including ingestion, transformation, curated data layers, semantic modelling, data marts, open table formats, and fit-for-purpose consumption patterns for BI, analytics, and AI use cases.
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries, with working knowledge of security, risk, and compliance expectations.
Strong decision-making and trade-off analysis skills (risk, cost, time-to-market, resiliency).
Experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient data platforms across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments, including modern integration patterns such as APIs, event-driven data flows, streaming, batch processing, and governed data sharing.
