We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Associate Director, FP&A Lead - BANK Cluster (Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo) to lead Financial Planning & Analysis activities for the BANK cluster and provide strong business partnering support with an enterprise mindset.

In this role, you will help shape financial decision-making, support the achievement of operational and financial goals, and contribute to the broader success of the Human Health organization. You will report to the MEDEBA Executive Finance Director and serve as a key member of the Human Health country leadership team.

This position offers the opportunity to work from any company location in Europe, providing flexibility while supporting a regional business scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial insights and strategic perspectives to support the BANK cluster Managing Director and Country Leadership Team in achieving operational and financial goals.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes to ensure alignment with business priorities and accurate financial projections.

  • Extend business partnering support across other divisions and drive stakeholder alignment across functions as an enterprise leader.

  • Deliver timely and comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and key performance metrics to the Country Leadership Team and regional stakeholders.

  • Analyze financial data to identify strategic investment opportunities, revenue growth opportunities, and efficiency improvements.

  • Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted performance, and provide actionable recommendations, risks, and opportunities.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and department leaders by providing financial guidance to support strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business cases for new initiatives and operational enhancements.

  • Work strategically with the country finance controller team to strengthen the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, including rebate provision management.

  • Contribute to a culture that values diversity and inclusion, collaboration, teamwork, accountability, and continuous development.

  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as required by the Country Leadership Team.

  • Support the development of accounting policies, systems, and procedures to ensure strong financial governance and robust financial practices.

  • Support the monthly close process, including accrual reviews, journal postings, balance sheet reviews, and approval of manual journal entries.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with FP&A experience preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to organize, interpret, and communicate data effectively.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently.

  • Fluency in English.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, advise, and influence internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong data storytelling capability with the ability to translate financial information into clear business insights.

  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust, respect, and collaboration across teams.

  • Innovative mindset with the ability to identify creative solutions and alternative approaches.

  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure environments, lead change, and make timely decisions.

  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups and settings.
