Position Summary
As a member of the firm’s Pricing team, the Pricing Analyst will work closely with attorneys and professional staff across the firm to respond to the financial section of Request For Proposals, prepare fee quotes and budgets for prospective clients, provide client requested financial reports, analyze historical rate and fee data, and track new client agreements. This position will also assist in establishing best practices and operational procedures in collaboration with the Pricing team as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Works with attorneys to create rate and fee quotes, and budgets, when required by RFPs or for new client pitches.
Assists with data gathering and analysis for regular client reviews and presentations.
Assists in the collection and organization of department statistical data as needed.
Collaborates with Financial Report Developers to improve department reports to increase efficiency.
Works closely with billing department to ensure proper set-up of new rate agreements.
Maintains and updates information related to current rate deals and client deadlines.
Supports pricing team with budget development, benchmarking, and data analytics projects as needed.
Qualifications

Education & Prior Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, with specialization in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, or similar quantitative focus.
Entry-level position with no previous experience required.
Technology
Technical / Scripting experience a plus: SQL, SSRS, Python, PowerBI, Prompt Engineering preferred.
Exceptional computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros).
High degree of comfort using and learning new computer software.
Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use in a professional environment.
Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support daily workflow and/or improve work quality.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move from workstation or desk throughout the work area to work independently or with a team to meet with colleagues or supervisor and retrieve work assignments.
This position may also be sedentary and require the employee to sit for extended periods of time.
Requires manual dexterity to use a phone, enter data into a computer, handle objects, and use office equipment.
