Software QA Engineer

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Software QA Engineer to drive end-to-end validation of our storage management solutions. Reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager, you will work within a dedicated team to build, maintain, and test scalable storage array applications utilizing open-source and third-party tools. Your primary goals are to ensure seamless feature delivery and maintain top-tier reliability across our storage, public cloud, and private cloud platforms.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required, or equivalent work experience.

• 5+ years of software development or Storage Software QA experience.
• Expertise in Agile QA methodologies, software test plan development, and end-to-end testing cycles.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD test automation pipelines, JIRA/Confluence tools, and server/storage networking infrastructures.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, JavaScript, and Shell script.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and data storage technologies like S3 Object, Block Devices, NFS, and SMB (preferred).

What You Will Do

• Design and execute detailed software test plans aligned with specific product feature requirements.
• Maintain CI/CD test automation pipelines to continuously validate storage management software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in JIRA and Confluence to track features, defects, and project schedules.
• Identify project risks, manage timelines, and ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.
• Support field teams with debug analysis, customer issue reproduction, and troubleshooting activities.
• Test and validate web services API integrations and backend storage/networking workflows.
• Write and maintain automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, and Shell scripting.
• Partner with remote cross-functional team members and communicate directly with customers or end users when needed.
