Supply Chain Analyst, Expert I

As the Supply Chain Analyst, you will define the logic, assumptions, and functional rules. These rules guide forecasting, metrics, analytics, and inventory strategies within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and broader Supply Chain ecosystem. You will translate commercial and contractual requirements into planning parameters, develops specifications for dashboards and analytics, and supports global enhancements including the IBP technology roadmap. The analyst ensures that forecasting quality, safety stock logic, inventory targets, and dashboards are accurate and validated across all Departments/Regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the logic and assumptions that govern statistical forecasting, forecast enrichment, performance measurement, and annual planning cycles.
• Define methodologies to improve 18‑month forecast quality including back‑testing, sense‑checking, and understanding to financial forecasts.
• Own definitions, formulas, and assumptions for key supply chain and IBP performance metrics.
• Establish metric logic across dashboards (PMR/DR/SR/IR/MBR).
• Write detailed functional specifications for new dashboards, analytics components, and reporting logic.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications for IT/BI teams.
• Contribute to global design, testing, and rollout phases.
• Calculate safety stock using Statistical Inventory Targets, validating accuracy and underlying assumptions.
• Facilitate agreement between statistical forecasts, enriched forecasts, financial plans, and annual plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
• 2–6 years of experience in Supply Chain Analytics, Demand Planning, S&OP/IBP, or Data Analytics roles.
• Experience in multinational, matrix organizations.
