What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end UX/UI design across customer journeys, from discovery and research to final design delivery.
- Apply Human-Centred Design principles to identify user needs, solve problems, and create intuitive experiences.
- Develop design artefacts including journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, IA models, and user flows.
- Translate customer insights, feedback, and analytics into design improvements and validated solutions.
- Create responsive, accessible, and brand-aligned UI designs using Telstra design systems.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, communicate design rationale, and align teams on experience outcomes.
- Conduct usability testing and design validation to ensure quality, accessibility, and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with developers throughout implementation to maintain design integrity and delivery standards.
- Leverage AI-enabled design tools to improve efficiency and accelerate design processes.
- Drive design excellence through mentoring, thought leadership, agile practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- Strong UX/UI design expertise with experience in responsive design, prototyping, and accessibility (WCAG AA).
- Proficiency in Figma, Miro/Atlassian Whiteboard, user research tools, and design systems.
- Experience designing for web and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
- Good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), analytics, and Agile delivery.
- Ability to apply Human-Centred Design (HCD) and systems thinking to solve complex business and customer challenges.
- Strong stakeholder management, customer engagement, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and workshop facilitation capabilities.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Ability to create clear design documentation, articulate recommendations, and drive alignment across teams and senior stakeholders
