Field Service Representative (FSR) - Heavy Equipment Maintenannce

This position is part of a talent pipeline created to identify and engage qualified candidates for anticipated future opportunities.  While this role is not tied to an immediate opening, applicants who meet the qualifications may be considered as relevant positions become available.

Purpose: This position advises, assists and provides maintenance oversight of repair, including performance of maintenance and repair of commercial or military equipment.  Inspects all maintenance and repair efforts of Heavy Equipment, systems and platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspects all maintenance and repair efforts of all Heavy Equipment (Wheel).
• May supervise and perform maintenance and inspections and advanced diagnostics at the direct support and general support level of maintenance and repairs of es of military heavy equipment: PLS (M1120A4 M1075,) LHS (M1074’s). HEMMTs (M984A4, M978A4,) FMTVs (M1078-M1089A1P2) STRYKERs, (JLTV’s (1278, 1280A1) and Trailers for equipment, i.e., M1076. M1082, M1095, M870 series to include Flat racks and other family type vehicles.
• Performs troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on various pieces of wheeled vehicles/equipment, both tactical and non-tactical.
• Provides guidance and technical assistance to shop maintenance personnel on inspection principles of workmanship, procedures to be employed, and quality of work expected.
• Ensures compliance with government and corporate regulations, company SOPs, directives, and technical manuals to establish and maintain a quality management program.
• Cross trains when required to ensure maximum flexibility and possession of technical skills in the development and maintenance of quality programs.
• Ensures strict compliance to safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
• Adheres to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.
• Performs all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• 6 years’ related experience required.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Must have the ability to analyze and interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals with relation to vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Military MOS 91Z with extensive experience supporting Heavy Equipment Maintenance or civilian equivalent preferred.
• International driver’s license prior to deployment preferred.

Certification, License & Clearance:

• Valid US Driver’s license required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a CAC, if required.

Facility credentials/authorization required:

Must be able to obtain and maintain facility and credential /authorization:

Note- US Citizenship is required for facility credential/authorization at this work location.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

• Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
• Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
• When performing work, responsible for adhering to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
