As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Specialist in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional response to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with hospital staff, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
