Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Ambassador in Charlotte, NC at Amazon Warehouse, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and grounded in integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and/or vendor access when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports, and support access control and badge-related processes in line with location guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
