Job Description: Planning & Scheduling Resource

Venus Good Will Tower, GIFT City

Position Overview

Responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules and resource plans for Venus Good Will Tower construction/fit-out activities in GIFT City, ensuring timely project delivery and optimal resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule Development & Management

• Create and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard software (Primavera P6/MS Project)
• Develop baseline schedules and track progress against milestones
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to establish realistic timelines
• Identify critical paths and potential schedule risks

Resource Planning

• Forecast resource requirements (labor, materials, equipment) based on project phases
• Monitor resource allocation and utilization across work packages
• Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure resource availability
• Track and report on resource constraints and bottlenecks

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Conduct regular schedule reviews and variance analysis
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports with earned value metrics
• Update schedules based on actual progress and changes
• Flag delays and recommend corrective actions to project management

Coordination & Communication

• Facilitate planning meetings with project stakeholders
• Interface with design, engineering, and construction teams
• Support look-ahead planning and short-term scheduling activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of GIFT City regulations and compliance requirements (preferred)
