Job Description

As a Security Officer - Morning Parking Lot Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or passengers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking areas, access points, pedestrian zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and vehicle flow, assisting with access control practices, directional support, and reporting issues involving gates, lighting, equipment, and/or restricted areas.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining a visible presence, and communicating professionally with the public and site personnel regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
