The Market Access Manager develops and executes national market access as well as pricing and reimbursement (P&R) strategies. The overall goal is to ensure fast, broad, and sustainable patient access to Sandoz medicines through effective engagement with key stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Pricing & Reimbursement (P&R)
Prepare and submit applications for P&R including negotiations with authorities
Support with new product launches including obtaining local and regional approvals
Ensure P&R information is kept up to date in all internal and external registers
Maintain and evolve P&R tools and systems for accurate and efficient data handling.
Market Access Strategy & Execution
Support in preparation of yearly Market Access Plan
Identify and address access hurdles in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide early input into P&R strategies, financial planning, and business decisions.
Assess market dynamics, competitor activities, and policy developments to support business strategy
Execute notifications with authorities on required stock-related topics, incl. coordination with internal stakeholders
Stakeholder Engagement
Engage with DVSV to enable reimbursement and cost-effectiveness discussions and to continue building the positive relationship
Manage and guide external agencies in the execution of projects
Support Field Market Access in preparation of stakeholder engagement topics
Insights & Communication
Monitor regulatory, legal, policy, and market changes for insight generation
Prepare internal meetings to communicate insights to cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to key strategic decisions
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
University degree in Healthcare Economics, Natural Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Pharma Market Access, ideally in Austria
Previous experience in supply chain would be a plus
Solid understanding of the healthcare system, regulatory environment, and reimbursement processes in Austria
Fluent in English and German
Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with health authorities and other key stakeholders
Advanced communication and negotiation skills with the ability to convey economic and policy topics clearly and convincingly.

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is EUR 66.917,62/year (on a full-time basis).
In most cases, however, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
