As a Security Officer / Distribution Center in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use communication and technology skills to support a welcoming, secure environment while responding to security-related concerns. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor management and access-control processes.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate professionally with site personnel, and support a welcoming environment while helping to deter unauthorized access.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
