About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced Powder Coater to join their team in Biggleswade. This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality finishes and is looking for a long-term, permanent opportunity.

This role may also suit candidates who have worked as a Paint Sprayer, Industrial Coater, Finishing Operative, or within a manufacturing or fabrication environment where surface preparation and coating are key.

 

What You’ll Do

• Prepare metal components for coating including cleaning, masking, and pre-treatment

• Apply powder coatings using spray equipment to a high standard

• Ensure even coverage and consistent finish across all parts

• Monitor curing processes and oven settings

• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications

• Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and organised

• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines

 

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Powder Coater is essential

• Good understanding of surface preparation and coating techniques

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and quality

• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic

• Looking for a stable, long-term role
