Description
Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming needs
Support with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety at all times
Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
Follow individualised care plans to meet each client’s specific needs
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition
Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
Support clients with medication reminders and light household tasks
Ensure a clean and safe environment for all clients
Drive clients to appointments or outings when necessary (driving skills preferred)
Experience
Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Good understanding of care plans and ability to follow instructions accurately
Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential
Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and team members
Valid driving licence is preferred for assisting with transportation needs
