Description
Ed Green Electric is seeking a highly innovative, experienced, and dedicated Process Control Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and enhancing intricate control systems that are central to our operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular tests and assessments on existing control systems to identify inefficiencies and areas that require improvements.Design and implement new control systems aimed at enhancing operational and administrative efficiency and processes.Develop and monitor key performance indicators to identify opportunities for process improvements.Work collaboratively with the operations, maintenance, and safety departments to understand system requirements and to drive process and system improvements.Perform routine troubleshooting activities ensuring minimal operational downtime.Maintain updated knowledge on current industry standards, trends, and best practices to ensure optimal performance.Documentation of processes, system operations and configuration changes.Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is required. A Master’s Degree or other professional certification would be an added advantage.Proven experience as a Process Control Engineer or in a similar role in the Engineering field.Sound knowledge of advanced process control (APC), distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC) and other control system technologies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.Exceptional communication and team-working skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.Proficiency in using design and calculation software.
