What You'll Be Doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Financial Crimes Technology team. You’ll lead complex technology projects to design strategic solutions involving multiple back-end systems aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap. As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll support end-to-end project implementation in technical design, integration, and deployment of Information Security application systems. You’ll collaborate with application development, engineering, architecture, and other technical teams to create and build flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.

How You'll Succeed
· Understanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with business and technology partners to gather complex technical/solution requirements (functional & non-functional) and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
· Solution Design - Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, system workflows, and quality assurance.
· Leading and Mentoring – Support end-to-end project implementation as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to a diverse team of technology and project professionals. Maintain a collaborative work environment and support team members to resolve organizational, operational, and process problems.
Who You Are
· You have experience. 3+ years of professional exposure in requirements elicitation in software development lifecycle utilizing the waterfall and agile delivery approach and expertise in delivering technical/solution requirements. You are comfortable with working with data, back-end systems and have a technical background, yet have strong business acumens to understand what business really needs. You must have professional exposure in system development lifecycle utilizing waterfall model and expertise in delivering technical/solution requirements.
