Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time ER Lobby Screening in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will support a caring environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while responding to security-related needs throughout the facility.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management processes in accordance with site-specific policies, directing individuals to appropriate departments or entrances as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
