About the Supply Chain Optimization Team (SCO)
The Supply Chain Optimization team is responsible for planning and executing inbound inventory flow across the supply chain, including the creation and management of purchase orders for the business. As part of the broader Supply Chain organization, the SCO team partners closely with Inventory Management, Sourcing, Transportation, Merchandising, and Distribution Center Operations to help ensure product moves efficiently, accurately, and on time.
Overview of the Supply Chain Coordinator Role
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day execution of purchase order processes and inbound inventory flow. This role is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining purchase orders, communicating with vendors and vendor agents, and partnering with internal teams across Inventory, Merchandising, Sourcing, Transportation, and Distribution Center Operations.
The Supply Chain Coordinator plays an important support role in helping the Inventory Planning team manage purchase order accuracy, vendor updates, ship dates, ETA changes, and customer-facing order dates. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to follow through across multiple partners and priorities.
The Supply Chain Coordinator position is located in The Colony, TX.
You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will……
- Create, update, and maintain purchase orders based on inventory needs, partner inputs, and supply chain constraints
- Communicate purchase order and transportation updates with vendors, vendor agents, and internal partners
- Coordinate purchase order details with vendors and in-country teams to support the timely flow of inbound inventory
- Update weekly and ad-hoc reports to ensure accuracy of inventory, cost, destination, ship date, and ETA information
- Track and update customer-facing order dates to reflect current back-order timing and receipt forecasts
- Partner with Inventory Management, Merchandising, Sourcing, Distribution Center Operations, and Transportation teams to investigate issues, resolve problems, and support an efficient supply chain

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At least 0 –1 year of relevant experience or internship experience
- This is an in-office role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organization, time management, communication, and follow-through skills
- Ability to manage details accurately across purchase orders, reports, and vendor updates
We prefer some of these qualities as well….
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field
- Understanding of retail supply chain
