Full-Cycle Account Executive
New Business Development: find the buying moment, build the case, close the deal
The Opportunity
Most infrastructure decisions don’t happen because a salesperson called. They happen because something forced them: a server fleet hitting end of life, a hypervisor renewal that jumped overnight, a colocation contract running out, an audit that didn’t go well. The best sellers in our industry spot those moments before anyone else, and show up with the right answer.
That’s the job. We’re looking for a true hunter who builds their own pipeline, sells a smart comparison instead of a canned pitch, and closes new business from first conversation to signature. No inherited accounts to babysit and no waiting on marketing leads, just a real market, a flexible portfolio, and room to build something that’s yours.
Why This Role Is Different
- You’re not stuck selling one product. Public cloud, private cloud, Dell hardware, colocation—you recommend what actually fits the workload, even when the honest answer is “keep that one in Azure.” Customers notice. So do their referrals.
- You stay a hunter. Client Success owns renewals and account management, so your time—and your commission plan, stay focused on winning new logos.
- You don’t hunt alone. We co-sell with leading technology advisors including Intelisys, Telarus, Upstack, and Avant, so your reach goes well beyond your own list.
- Your impact is visible. You’ll work directly with the VP of Sales and company leadership, and what you build will shape how Dynascale grows.
About Dynascale
Dynascale provides cloud solutions, colocation, infrastructure modernization, AI sovereignty, cybersecurity, and managed IT services. We help organizations with demanding performance, cost, and compliance requirements put every workload in the right place—and run it reliably once it’s there.
What You’ll Do
Find the buying moment
- Build your own territory map and hit list, ranked by real timing signals: hardware end-of-life dates, contract and lease expirations, licensing changes, funding, acquisitions, and audit cycles.
- Reach out when it matters—by phone, email, LinkedIn, events, and referrals—using HubSpot, Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.
- Turn technology advisors and brokers into a second pipeline engine through smart co-selling.
Build the case
- Run sharp discovery with IT managers and directors, find the event driving the decision, and qualify with discipline using MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or a similar method.
- Own the first technical conversation, virtualization, backup, bandwidth, compliance—and bring in Solutions Engineers when the design gets deep.
- Arm your champion with a one-page business case that wins the room you’re not in: why now, the cost of doing nothing, and why this is the right move.
Close and hand off
- Negotiate and close new-logo deals that make sense for the customer and for Dynascale, no buying revenue with discounts.
- Run a forecast you’d put your name on, with HubSpot kept clean and current.
- Hand off to Client Success with a complete, accurate service order—then get back to hunting.
What You Bring
- 3–7 years selling recurring infrastructure or managed services: colocation, IaaS, private cloud, MSP/MSSP, DRaaS, or managed network.
- A track record of sourcing at least half of your own closed business—and a method you can walk us through in detail.
- Experience selling to IT managers and directors at companies with roughly 50–1,000 employees.
- Quota attainment earned without a big marketing engine, an SDR team, or a sales engineer on every call.
- The patience for four- to seven-month cycles and the fluency to talk about deals in recurring revenue and margin, not just contract value.
- Real CRM and forecasting discipline, ideally in HubSpot.
Bonus Points
- You have beaten AWS or Azure on cost predictability and control.
- You have closed deals alongside technology advisors or brokers such as Intelisys, Telarus, Upstack, or Avant.
- You have quoted hardware and a recurring service in the same deal.
- You know compliance-driven industries such as healthcare, financial services, entertainment and post-production, or the public sector.
- You sell with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Challenger, or a similar methodology.
How We Measure Winning
New monthly recurring revenue closed against an annual quota of roughly $20K in net-new MRR. Along the way, we look at self-sourced pipeline, qualified opportunities with a clear buying event, deal progression, win rate, margin, forecast accuracy, and clean handoffs to Client Success. Bottom line: new customers and recurring revenue that last.
This Is Your Role If…
- You’ve built a book from nothing and can tell us exactly how you did it.
- Spotting a hardware refresh nine months early excites you more than a warm inbound lead.
- You’d rather recommend the option that pays you less than lose a customer’s trust.
- You can walk through the economics of every deal you’ve closed.
- You don’t need a playbook handed to you—you’d rather write one.
It’s probably not the right fit if you’re looking for a steady stream of inbound leads, a dedicated SDR, or a sales engineer on every first call.
Compensation
Base salary: $75,000 – $85,000 plus OTE.
Ready to Hunt?
If you know how to find the buying moment, build the case, and close—and you want a role where that skill is the whole job—we want to hear from you. When you apply, tell us about the best deal you ever sourced yourself.
