Join Spectrum Healthcare Resources in an exciting opportunity for a civilian Dental Assistant at Naval Hospital Great Lakes in Waukegan, IL, where everyday presents new challenges and opportunities for growth.

This contract position offers:
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Competitive pay |$56,513 annually- *SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE*
- 11 Paid Federal Holidays

Position Requirements:
- Education: Hold a Certificate or Associate Degree in dental assisting, obtained from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA), with at least 12 months of experience within the last 36 months.
- Military expertise: Or Possess certification from a military dental technician or dental assistant school, coupled with 12 months of experience within the preceding 36 months, showcasing your specialized skills in a military setting.
- Dental Office Training: Must have 3 years experience and provide Letter from Current Employer's HR with list of job duties to include Dental Radiography.
- Radiographic proficiency: Be certified in radiography, with comprehensive training covering radiation physics, biology, health, safety, and protection, as well as digital radiographic processing techniques.
- Experience: Demonstrate your prowess with 1 year of Full-Time experience as a Dental Assistant post-graduation. 3 years of Full-Time experience if trained in dental office.
- Certification: Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, ensuring you're equipped to handle any situation that may arise.
