As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and property, monitoring access points, and reporting suspicious activity. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen packages, cargo, and/or personnel in accordance with established screening protocols and applicable site requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry to designated operational areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including operational spaces and the facility perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
