The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico:
The Sr. Analyst, Sourcing & Procurement plays a key role in executing RFX (RFI, RFQ, RFP) activities to support sourcing and commodity management objectives across multiple categories. This role requires autonomy, analytical expertise, and clear communication to deliver moderately complex RFX projects. You will collaborate with sourcing teams, Commodity Leaders, engineering, and suppliers to drive competitive bidding and sourcing execution.
What You Will Do
- Execute end-to-end RFX activities, including intake, scoping, documentation preparation, supplier communication, evaluation coordination, and award recommendation.
- Manage moderately complex RFX projects independently, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established sourcing policies.
- Analyze supplier proposals, cost structures, and technical responses to support sourcing decisions and summarize findings for stakeholders.
- Apply established templates, workflows, and governance requirements to ensure consistency and fairness in supplier engagement.
- Recommend minor enhancements to RFX documentation or processes to improve clarity, efficiency, or effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain data for reporting on cycle times, quality metrics, supplier participation, and sourcing outcomes.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination between sourcing, engineering, finance, and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows or enhance the quality of RFX outputs.
- This position will reference written work instructions for guidance with daily job activities. Work instructions are available in English only.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Experience managing moderately complex assignments autonomously.
- Experience evaluating supplier bids, cost structures, or technical responses.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, or Jaggaer.
- Experience with competitive bidding, procurement processes, or RFX tools.
- Skills in data analysis, Excel, and reporting dashboards.
