We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:

This job involves independent collaboration to enhance the quality and efficiency of sourcing processes. The Sr Analyst conducts research to identify potential vendors, oversees team performance, and analyzes data to provide insights for sourcing strategies. They are responsible for developing documentation of best practices and process improvements, ensuring alignment with PayPal's strategic goals in procurement.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that align with PayPal's overall business objectives and procurement strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive category and supplier analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and performance improvement.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels, ensuring optimal value for PayPal.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality performance, compliance with contractual obligations, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and develop sourcing strategies that support organizational goals.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities in the procurement landscape.
• Evaluate and select vendors based on thorough research, assessment, and alignment with PayPal's strategic goals and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
• Analyze spend data and procurement metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and report findings to senior management.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:

Primary Location | Pay Range:

Scottsdale, Arizona: ($76,500.00 - $109,450.00 Annually)

Additional Location(s) | Pay Range:

Chicago, Illinois: ($80,500.00 - $114,950.00 Annually) Austin, Texas: ($80,500.00 - $114,950.00 Annually) Omaha, Nebraska: ($76,500.00 - $109,450.00 Annually) Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
