The Group Content Chapter sits within Marketing and Corporate Affairs, creating content that builds CommBank’s reputation, consideration and customer engagement.
We lead the Brighter content ecosystem across owned, social, creator, media and campaign channels.
Do work that matters
As Senior Manager – Content, you’ll help shape our content strategy and how CommBank shows up across existing and emerging channels.
With a strong focus on social and platform-native content, you’ll connect audience and cultural insight with ideas, production, distribution and optimisation.
You’ll also lead and develop content talent and partner across the organisation to deliver high-quality work.
On any given day, you will:
- Lead content across social, video, creator, media and integrated campaigns.
- Shape CommBank’s social presence and develop platform-native ideas and formats.
- Turn customer, cultural, search and social insights into timely content opportunities.
- Develop creator and influencer partnerships that extend reach and relevance.
- Partner with media, brand and campaign teams to connect content across paid, owned and earned channels.
- Lead social media crisis communications and issues response, including participation in an after-hours on-call roster covering evenings and weekends.
- Oversee content from concept and briefing through production, publishing and optimisation.
- Translate complex financial topics into useful, compelling customer stories.
- Use performance insights to continually improve content and creative effectiveness.
- Explore emerging platforms, formats and technology, including responsible uses of AI.
- Lead, coach and develop content talent while maintaining a high creative and editorial bar.
We’re interested to hear from people who have:
- Significant experience leading social and content for a major brand, complex organisation or agency.
- Strong strategic, creative and editorial judgement.
- Deep knowledge of social platforms, audience behaviour and platform-native content.
- Experience across integrated campaigns, media and creator partnerships.
- Strong content production, writing and storytelling skills.
- Experience managing social media issues, crisis communications and fast-moving reputational matters.
- Confidence using audience insights, social listening and performance data to make decisions.
- Strong stakeholder influence and experience working across senior, multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience leading and developing content and creative talent.
- Curiosity about culture, technology and how audiences are changing.
