Regional Manager Nursing Home Food Service Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support and leadership to multiple healthcare facilities.
- Mentor and develop Food Service Directors and department teams.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations, including sanitation and food safety standards.
- Monitor food quality, resident satisfaction, and service excellence.
- Manage food and labor costs while meeting budget goals.
- Conduct facility audits and implement corrective action plans.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new Food Service Directors.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Regional Manager Nursing Home Food Service Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of food service management experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.
- Multi-site management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare, food service regulations, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and food service management systems.
- ServSafe Certification preferred.
