Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Control in Franklin, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
