X-Ray Technologist – Full-Time | Paid CT Cross-Training

Location: Precision Imaging Centers – Mandarin / Old St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Precision Imaging Centers is looking for a full-time X-Ray Technologist to join our team at our Mandarin location on Old St. Augustine Road.

This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or early-career Radiologic Technologist who wants to build a career in CT. You’ll work as an X-Ray Technologist while receiving hands-on, paid cross-training in CT from our experienced team.

What You’ll Do

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-Ray exams
• Provide friendly, compassionate, patient-centered care
• Prepare, position, and educate patients throughout their exams
• Work alongside experienced CT Technologists and begin hands-on CT training
• Learn CT patient preparation, positioning, protocols, exam setup, and scanning
• Develop IV and contrast administration skills as appropriate
• Maintain patient safety and follow established imaging protocols
• Support the imaging team and help create an efficient, positive patient experience

Who We’re Looking For

• ARRT(R) registered Radiologic Technologist
• Current or eligible Florida Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Previous CT experience is not required
• Venipuncture experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to learn CT

Your Path to CT

This position is designed for an X-Ray Technologist who wants to advance into CT.

You’ll receive paid CT cross-training while working with experienced CT Technologists, with the goal of progressing toward independent CT scanning. Precision Imaging Centers also provides support for ARRT CT exam preparation.

The successful candidate will be expected to obtain certification in CT within 12 months of completing the required training and clinical competencies.
