Our Building Services team brings together deep technical expertise, multi-disciplinary collaboration and a design-thinking approach to develop holistic engineering solutions. We work closely with clients, architects and project partners to make buildings more efficient, sustainable, cost effective, safe to build and practical to operate with our multi-disciplinary capability and design-thinking approach enabling team to develop holistic solutions that respond to each project’s technical, operational and environmental needs.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced, client-focused Mechanical Engineer with sound technical judgement, a resourceful aptitude, a collaborative mindset and a passion for innovative, sustainable design. Based diverse and passionate in Singapore, you will contribute to and delivering successful mechanical engineering solutions for high-growth and technically demanding sectors, and fast paced projects across the region, including data centres, AI and high-compute deployments, and regional programs.
Working across sectors such as data centres, commercial, retail, hospitality and industrial developments, you will collaborate with colleagues from multiple in-house and/or external disciplines to deliver robust, coordinated and technically excellent building services designs. As your professional capability develops, you will have opportunities to take on greater responsibility, strengthen client relationships and support the delivery of projects from early-stage advisory through to completion.
The Skills
Possess an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng, BEng or equivalent), bringing relevant the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems, including across HVAC systems, fire protection systems, sanitary and sewerage drainage, plumbing and gas distribution systems. You should be confident using mechanical design and modelling software tools such as HAP, FHC, IES, and Revit, and be conversant with local statutory codes, regulations and permitting requirements, as well as applicable international standards including NFPA, ASHRAE, CIBSE etc. Having worked across various project lifecycle stages—e.g. feasibility studies, site due diligence, design through construction administration, testing and commissioning—is preferred, Sector experience in data centres or mission critical systems, implementation of alternative cooling technologies, or involvement in Green Mark-certified projects such as Super Low Energy or Zero Energy developments will be highly regarded.
You will be comfortable preparing design calculations, specifications, technical reports and coordinated design documentation, while applying your initiative to resolve technical challenges and support practical, buildable outcomes. Just as importantly, you will bring clear communication, professional curiosity and a collaborative, client-focused approach to working with our teams and project partners.
