Position Summary:
This posting is for one (1) position of 45 hours, in the Department of Educational & Counselling Psychology. This TA position will support Dr. Jake Burack, course instructor, for two sections of the course EDPE 502 offered on Wednesday from 11:35am - 2:25pm. Effective dates of appointment are August 31 to December 19, 2026. Course dates are August 31 to December 4, 2026.
Responsibilities may include:
- Grading
- Preparing class materials
- Moderating online discussions and activities
- Assisting students' learning
- Attending or holding virtual office hours
- Attending all classes (Fall 2026 Wednesdays 11:35am to 2:25pm)
Qualifications:
- Senior Ph.D. Student with background in Human Development
- Background in the subject matter of the course
- Comfortable with MyCourses and Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of French may be required
- Highly organized
- Capable of delivering the class independently
