The Director, ERP Data Analytics, AI & Automation Platform is accountable for the strategy, governance, delivery and operational performance of GSK's ERP data, analytics, AI and automation platforms. The role leads the teams responsible for ERP analytics, data provisioning, visualization, conversational AI and intelligent automation and enterprise reporting capabilities, ensuring these capabilities enable trusted data, actionable insights, operational efficiency and business value across the ERP landscape
The Director leads a portfolio of ERP data, analytics, AI and automation capabilities, including:

The role provides leadership across ERP Data Analytics and ERP AI & Automation teams and is accountable for platform strategy, service delivery, architecture, governance, technology lifecycle management, vendor management and continuous innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the ERP Data Analytics, AI & Automation Platform, providing strategic direction, people leadership and operational accountability across analytics, data provisioning, visualization, conversational AI and automation capabilities.
Define and execute the platform strategy, roadmap and operating model, ensuring alignment with ERP transformation, enterprise data strategy, AI priorities and business objectives.
Lead ERP analytics and data platform modernization, including ECC to S/4HANA transformation initiatives and the adoption of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Datasphere and Power BI.
Own the architecture, governance and lifecycle management of ERP analytics, data and AI platforms, ensuring scalable, secure and sustainable solutions.
Establish trusted, governed and reusable data products, ensuring data quality, integration, semantic consistency and a single source of truth across enterprise reporting and analytics.
Drive the adoption of AI, Conversational AI and Intelligent Automation capabilities, including SAP Business Process Automation, delivering measurable business value, productivity gains and enhanced user experiences.
Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, cyber security, audit, regulatory and pharmaceutical industry requirements, including validated systems and data integrity standards.
Oversee platform operations and service delivery, driving engineering excellence through DevOps, automation, performance optimization, service reliability and continuous improvement.
Partner with business leaders, ERP product teams and enterprise stakeholders to shape demand, prioritize investments and maximize adoption and value realization from analytics, AI and automation capabilities.
Manage platform budgets, strategic vendors and delivery partners, providing executive oversight of performance, risks, financials and strategic outcomes.
Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience Required
18+ years of experience in ERP, Data & Analytics, AI, Automation or Enterprise Technology roles, including leadership of global teams, business-critical platforms and large-scale transformation initiatives.
5+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise data, analytics, AI, automation or ERP platform teams, including people, budgets, vendors and strategic roadmaps.
Proven experience defining and executing technology strategies, operating models and multi-year transformation roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
Strong experience leading SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments, including ERP transformation, analytics modernization and enterprise data platform initiatives.
Deep knowledge of enterprise analytics and data platforms, including SAP BW, BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere (DSP), SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), Power BI or equivalent technologies.
Experience driving AI, Generative AI, Conversational AI and Intelligent Automation capabilities, including governance, enterprise adoption and value realization.
Strong understanding of data governance, enterprise architecture, cyber security, privacy, risk management, audit and regulatory compliance within large global organizations.
Proven experience managing strategic vendors, managed service providers and multi-million-dollar technology budgets, with accountability for service delivery and business outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to lead geographically distributed teams and collaborate effectively across regions, cultures and business functions, preferably within global pharmaceutical, healthcare or other highly regulated industry environments.
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders, drive alignment and build consensus across complex organizations.

Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PMP or equivalent project/program management certifications desirable.
ITIL Foundation (or higher) certification and experience operating enterprise-scale service management models preferred.
AI, Cloud, Enterprise Architecture or Data Governance certifications desirable.
