What you will be working on
Support AI Financial Operations practices
- Support the development and continuous improvement of ASM’s AI Financial Operations processes, standards, and reporting practices.
- Help maintain visibility into AI-related costs and usage across models, copilots, agents, cloud services, data platforms, licenses, and vendor solutions.
- Contribute to establishing cost attribution and allocation methodologies that improve transparency and accountability.
- Support showback and chargeback processes in collaboration with Finance and other stakeholders.
- Assist in embedding AI cost considerations into business cases, planning cycles, and budgeting activities.
- Monitor AI consumption and spending trends across platforms, services, and solutions.
- Analyze usage data and identify key cost drivers, anomalies, optimization opportunities, and potential risks.
- Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and forecasts that provide visibility into AI investments.
- Support budget tracking, variance analysis, and cost forecasting activities.
- Partner with technical teams to identify opportunities that improve efficiency and optimize AI-related spending.
- Help develop reusable financial models and benchmarks for common AI solution patterns.
- Partner with business and transformation stakeholders to establish cost baselines, value assumptions, and success measures.
- Track adoption, spending, and realized benefits across AI initiatives.
- Prepare data-driven insights and recommendations that support investment and governance discussions.
- Contribute to regular reporting on costs, forecasts, adoption metrics, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Help ensure financial data accuracy and consistency across reporting processes.
- Support reviews of AI pricing models, licensing structures, and vendor commercial arrangements.
- Assist in evaluating the total cost of ownership of AI-enabled solutions.
- Participate in reviews that promote cost-conscious and value-driven decision-making.
- Stay informed on emerging AI technologies, pricing trends, and industry best practices.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Operations, technology finance, financial planning and analysis, IT financial management, cost management, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, or cost-management processes within a global organization.
- Knowledge of consumption-based technology cost models, including cloud services, software licensing, data platforms, and AI-related services.
- Experience performing financial analysis and interpreting complex usage, billing, or cost data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience preparing reports and communicating insights to business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, Procurement, Technology, and business teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
What sets you apart
- Experience supporting Financial Operations or cloud financial management programs.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their associated cost drivers, including models, agents, cloud infrastructure, and data services.
- Experience with showback, chargeback, cost allocation, or value realization practices.
- Experience in a semiconductor, engineering, or high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Professional certifications related to finance, accounting, financial analysis, cloud financial management, or Financial Operations.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, establish structure, and drive continuous improvement in a changing environment.
