Overview
Behind every high-performing growth organization is a strong operational engine. We're looking for a Media Operations Manager to help build and optimize that engine for The Vitamin Shoppe. This role will own the processes, systems, and workflows that enable best-in-class paid media execution across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging channels.
The Media Operations Manager will oversee campaign operations, budget management, reporting integrity, Google Merchant Center administration, and product feed management while partnering closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure flawless execution across the media ecosystem.
Over the next 1-2 years, this person will play a critical role in strengthening our in-house growth capabilities by developing scalable processes, improving data quality, and enhancing the infrastructure that supports media performance.

Responsibilities
Media Operations & Execution
- Manage campaign setup, trafficking, QA, and launch processes across paid media channels.
- Maintain campaign naming conventions, tracking standards, and documentation requirements.
- Ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain media calendars, promotional calendars, and execution timelines.
- Coordinate creative asset delivery and trafficking across platforms.
- Establish and enforce media operations best practices and quality control processes.
Budget & Financial Management
- Maintain media budgets across all digital marketing channels.
- Monitor pacing against monthly, quarterly, and annual investment plans.
- Track spend discrepancies and proactively resolve budget issues.
- Partner with Finance to support invoice reconciliation, accruals, and billing processes.
Google Merchant Center & Feed Management
- Own day-to-day management of Google Merchant Center.
- Monitor account health, diagnostics, policy compliance, and product disapprovals.
- Partner with ecommerce and merchandising teams to resolve feed and product data issues.
- Maintain feed taxonomy, product attributes, categorization, and data quality standards.
- Coordinate feed updates for promotions, inventory changes, pricing updates, and new product launches.
- Partner with agencies, platform partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure feed accuracy and operational excellence.
- Evaluate and implement feed enhancements to improve Shopping and Performance Max campaign performance.
Measurement & Reporting
- Ensure data accuracy across media platforms, analytics tools, and reporting environments.
- Identify reporting discrepancies and coordinate issue resolution.
Technology & Platform Operations
- Coordinate implementation and validation of pixels, conversion APIs, UTMs, and event tracking.
- Manage platform access, permissions, and governance.
- Support testing, implementation, and adoption of new marketing technologies.
Process Improvement
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.
- Create scalable workflows that improve execution quality and efficiency.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions.
- Drive automation opportunities across reporting, budgeting, campaign management, and feed operations.
- Lead efforts to improve operational consistency across channels and partners.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Ecommerce, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in media operations, digital marketing, ecommerce marketing, or marketing operations.
- Experience with paid media platforms including Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok.
- Experience managing Google Merchant Center and ecommerce product feeds.
- Experience with tracking methodologies, attribution, and digital analytics.
- Experience managing media budgets, forecasting, and billing reconciliation.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience in ecommerce or retail marketing.
- Familiarity with feed management platforms such as Feedonomics, ChannelAdvisor, or similar tools.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Understanding of conversion APIs and server-side tracking solutions.
- Experience supporting Shopping, Performance Max, and feed-driven advertising programs.

- Take on greater responsibility in onboarding new platforms and technology to enable growth within the performance media team
- Help improve media efficiency, speed of optimization and customer acquisition performance.
- Create tighter feedback loops between media, creative and e-commerce.
- Contribute to repeatable internal processes and playbooks that reduce reliance on external execution over time.
