Job Description

As a Security Officer Experience Required in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production-area access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Support a professional, orderly environment by reporting facility concerns, access-control issues, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
