Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contracts Administrator to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
contracts from award to close-out across hospitality assets (hotels, resorts, F&B, and associated amenities), ensuring compliance with terms, timelines, and obligations.
Manage the variations workflow through PMWeb, ensuring proper routing, approvals, and audit trail for all change events.
Carry out variation assessments and maintain the variation tracker with up-to-date status, values, and entitlement positions.
Assess, value, and process variations, change orders, and claims using established quantity surveying principles, with attention to FF&E, OS&E, and fit-out scopes.
Prepare Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) for invoicing and follow up with the client to secure timely payment.
Prepare client cost reports and update commercial dashboards, providing accurate commercial status, forecasts, and variation impacts.
Draft responses to contractual letters and prepare formal correspondence, notices, and determinations.
Work with schedulers and planners on programme-related matters, including responding to delay letters and preparing responses to extension of time (EOT) claims.
Evaluate interim and final payment applications for accuracy and contractual compliance.
Manage claims and disputes, including extension of time (EOT), prolongation, and disruption submissions.
Support delay and quantum analysis in coordination with planning and forensic teams.
Administer interfaces between design consultants, contractors, and hotel operators, ensuring brand standard and operator technical requirements are contractually captured.
Maintain contract registers, correspondence logs, and commercial records within the project management information system.
Advise project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk exposure.
Support negotiations, dispute avoidance, and resolution processes (mediation, adjudication, arbitration).
Ensure compliance with governance, audit, and reporting requirements.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
15 years in contract administration on design (consultancy) projects within construction/infrastructure, including hospitality or mixed-use developments, underpinned by a quantity surveying background.
Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIArb) desirable.
Thorough knowledge of FIDIC (or NEC) forms of contract.
Thorough knowledge of, and demonstrable experience in, variation management and contract administration on design (consultancy) projects, including administration of consultant agreements through the RIBA/design stages.
Experience on hospitality, resort, or mixed-use developments, including operator/brand-managed agreements.
Strong grasp of measurement, valuation, cost management, and claims quantification.
Proven ability to interpret contract clauses and manage contractual risk.
Hands-on proficiency in PMWeb (variations workflow, cost reporting) and other contract management/ERP systems (e.g., Aconex).
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
