Description

As a Principal Product Marketing Manager on the Photoshop Product Marketing team, you'll play a meaningful role in transforming the flagship product underpinning the Creative Cloud business–Photoshopand deepening adoption in a new era of AI-powered growth. You’ll help shape how Firefly and AI come together with Photoshop to empower graphic designers, video editors, photographers, and other professional creatives to create unique, standout content. This role will sit on the Product Marketing team leading global, customer-facing product and feature releases, as well as initiatives from awareness to engagement. Scope will span from gathering and synthesizing early customer research and insights, to informing the product roadmap as Photoshop transforms for the AI era, and optimizing use cases, creative, and messaging for scaled outbound marketing to drive business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Planning: Set clear goals for product marketing releases and initiatives, aligning with Adobe's strategic goals, and communicate strategy and plans effectively to team members and collaborators.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, using data and insights to inform a comprehensive marketing strategy.

  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Define and communicate an enduring and unique value prop for how Photoshop and Firefly work together as part of the Creative Cloud portfolio. Translate technical capabilities into compelling, consistent messaging that resonates across channels, audiences, and Creative Cloud.

  • Go-to-Market Execution: Lead the go-to-market process for new product launches, including messaging, positioning, informing pricing, and promotional activities.

  • Driving Value & Performance: Develop and implement marketing campaigns that drive measurable value, using data and analytics to optimize performance against business objectives.

  • Customer Journey: Map and analyze the customer journey to identify key touchpoints and difficulties, and develop strategies to enhance the overall experience and satisfaction.

  • Influencing Senior Leadership: Present strategies, plans, and results to senior leadership to inform decision-making, acting as a key cross-functional partner to ensure seamless collaboration on marketing initiatives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Passion for new technologies, creative image-editing products, and the creative industry. Hands-on experience with Photoshop or any digital imaging tools and the GenAI landscape is preferred.

  • A distinctive track record of launching technically complex products, leading cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior team members

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and rapidly evolving, matrixed environments, with a bias for action and problem solving

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — the ability to distill complex ideas into digestible content and confidently influence executives, peers, and key decision makers

  • Data-driven and insight-led approach, with genuine customer curiosity — you dig into research, talk directly with users, and have the courage to challenge plans based on new information

  • Alignment with Adobe Core Values and commitment to getting results through collaboration and innovation, with the ability to collaborate and influence across the organization

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, marketing, or a related field

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or a related degree is preferred OR 10+ years of experience OR equivalent practical experience
