Senior Account Supervisor, Employee Engagement

As a Senior Account Supervisor, Employee Engagement at Zeno, you will lead employee engagement, internal communications and change management programs for leading organizations. Working closely with clients, senior leaders and cross-functional teams, you will develop strategies that help organizations communicate effectively, strengthen employee experiences and navigate complex business and organizational change.
This role is ideal for an experienced communications professional who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on leadership. You'll have the opportunity to lead client programs, provide strategic counsel, manage integrated workstreams, mentor junior team members and help organizations create meaningful employee experiences.
About the Role:
Employee Engagement & Internal Communications Strategy: Develop and lead employee engagement and internal communications strategies that strengthen culture, improve employee experiences and support business and organizational priorities.
Change Management Communications: Lead communications programs that help employees understand and navigate organizational change, translating complex business initiatives into clear and actionable communications.
Research, Insights & Strategic Planning: Guide communications research and employee insights initiatives, translating findings into recommendations that inform strategy, content and program development.
Content & Leadership Communications: Oversee the development of communications materials for employee and leadership audiences, ensuring content is clear, engaging and aligned with organizational objectives.
Client Leadership & Strategic Counsel: Serve as a trusted day-to-day client advisor, providing strategic recommendations, anticipating needs and leading communications programs across multiple workstreams.
Integrated Communications & Collaboration: Partner across disciplines to connect employee engagement strategies with broader corporate, reputation and external communications programs where appropriate.
Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead and mentor junior team members through clear direction, thoughtful feedback and opportunities to build their skills and grow professionally.
Business Growth & Practice Development: Identify opportunities to expand client programs and contribute to new business, organic growth and initiatives that strengthen Zeno's Employee Engagement capabilities.
About You:
6+ years of experience in employee engagement, internal communications, change management, corporate communications or related fields within an agency or similar environment.
Experience developing and leading employee engagement and internal communications strategies that support organizational and business objectives.
Experience leading communications for organizational change, transformation or other complex business initiatives.
Ability to translate business priorities and complex information into clear communications strategies and compelling employee experiences.
Strong writing, editing, storytelling and presentation skills, with experience developing content for employee, leadership and executive audiences.
Experience conducting or overseeing communications research and applying employee insights to strategic recommendations.
Strong understanding of internal communications channels, engagement platforms and employee listening approaches.
Experience managing day-to-day client relationships and providing strategic counsel across multiple workstreams.
Strong project and account management skills with experience managing timelines, budgets, resources and multiple priorities.
Experience leading integrated teams and collaborating across communications disciplines.
Experience mentoring, coaching and providing feedback to junior team members.
Collaborative and adaptable mindset with curiosity about workplace culture, emerging technologies and evolving employee expectations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with employee engagement and listening platforms such as Qualtrics, Firstup or similar tools.
Experience developing executive and leadership communications programs.
Experience leading integrated programs that connect internal communications with corporate affairs, reputation or external communications.
Experience contributing to new business pitches or organic client growth.
Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 USD/yr.
An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
