Description
We’re looking for a TypeScript Software Engineer to join us at Telia.
I’m Andrius Paulauskas, Team Manager for Ingest Platform & Integrations, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on building reliable integrations and cloud-based solutions that enable smooth and secure content delivery.
What you’ll do:
You’ll develop and support integrations using TypeScript and Node.js while improving the reliability, observability and security of our cloud platform.
• Develop and support integrations by adapting external providers’ metadata formats to our internal format and updating existing integrations as requirements change.
• Improve observability and resilience by implementing features that strengthen platform monitoring, stability and security compliance.
• Manage cloud resources using Terraform to provision and maintain AWS infrastructure, including S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, EC2, ECS, SNS and SQS.
• Collaborate and solve by gathering requirements, proposing technical solutions and implementing improvements that address real operational challenges.
What will help you thrive in this role:
You enjoy solving integration challenges, exploring logs and structured data, and working closely with others to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Solid experience with TypeScript and Node.js, ideally in a monorepo environment using pnpm and Turborepo.
• Interest in learning AWS serverless services, including Lambda, EventBridge, RDS, SNS, SQS, S3, DynamoDB and OpenSearch.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK and Terraform.
• Knowledge of event-driven services, REST and HTTP integrations, and handling structured data such as JSON and XML at scale.
• Skill to use logs and metadata in OpenSearch Dashboards to troubleshoot ingestion issues and communicate technical solutions clearly. Familiarity with Apache NiFi is an advantage.
