The Heart of What You Will Deliver
Estia Health are looking for a Billing Officer to come and join the growing finance team. The Billing Officer role is responsible for the set up and billing for all new, current, and discharged residents. The Billing Officer will act as the central point of contact for all billing matters for residents and various stakeholders throughout the business.
The Responsibilities We Will Trust You With
Process daily admission and discharges for new and departing residents.
Process monthly government funding reconciliations.
Respond to all incoming billing queries from relevant stakeholders.
Conduct Fortnightly and Monthly Billing runs.
Working knowledge of the Aged Care Act (1997) and legislation as it relates to fees and billing.
Maintaining good working relationships with external stakeholders and organisations.
Assist with preparation of Fee and RAD/ Bond Refunds.
Conducting Month End Reconciliations.
Ad-hoc responsibilities as directed by the Billing Manager.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Demonstrated Customer Service Skills.
Desirable
- 2+ Years working in an Aged Care billing role.
- Epicor experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
