Description
Operations Manager – Adolescent PHP/IOP
On Site | Davie, FL | Full-Time | Schedule M-F 12pm to 8pm
About the Role
You are the operational engine of the AWA program. You keep the day running — staff covered, schedules intact, documentation in order, and the environment safe and structured for every client. When things break down, you triage fast, delegate clearly, and protect the program without missing a beat. This role requires equal parts systems thinking and people leadership.
Backgrounds that translate well: Behavioral Health Operations · Program Management · Clinical Support Administration · Office or Facility Management
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily program operations including scheduling, coverage, census, and program flow
- Supervise Wellness Coordinators and BHTs; provide clear direction, feedback, and accountability
- Identify and triage operational and compliance risks in real time
- Manage staff scheduling and same-day coverage when callouts occur
- Oversee attendance tracking, intake logistics, and daily census reporting
- Monitor documentation completion and escalate errors or gaps immediately
- Coordinate facility needs, supplies, and general administrative operations
- Support incident reporting, safety protocols, and compliance processes
- Serve as the operational point of contact for therapists, front staff, and leadership during program hours
- Communicate changes to the team clearly, calmly, and with appropriate urgency
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of operations, supervisory, or program management experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment without losing structure
- Strong documentation and compliance awareness — you catch errors before they become audit findings
- Confident delegating, following up, and holding the team accountable
- Calm under pressure — you de-escalate situations, not escalate them
- Client-centered mindset; responsive to family concerns and protective of the client experience
- Eligible for DCF and AHCA Level 2 background screening and drug test
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
