Based out of our Eastern Creek depot, you'll play a key role supporting asphalt and civil operations across NSW. Day to day you will:
Operating Rigid trucks, primarily a 10 wheeler Flocon, across asphalt, civil and quarry sites
Carry out pre-starts, vehicle inspections and safety checks
Transporting materials safely and efficiently between plants, quarries and work sites
Work closely with site teams and supervisors to meet operational requirements
Working rotational shifts to support operational requirements
Following site procedures, safety requirements, and traffic management plans
Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and presentation including HVNL and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
How you'll connect to the role?
Current HR licence
Solid understanding of HVNL, fatigue management, load restraint, and CoR requirements
Availability to work a rotating roster including day, night and weekend shifts
Construction Induction Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain
Confidence using electronic telematic and fleet management systems
Reliable and professional approach to work with a strong commitment to safety
Positive attitude, self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team
Experience driving rigid trucks in quarry, asphalt, civil, construction, or related environments
Willingness to learn, undertake further training and develop within the business
The pre-employment process will involve a medical check including a drug and alcohol screening.
