What You Will Do:

• Perform software development with a highly skilled software team.
• Provide direct support of program efforts and proposal activities.
• Provide mentorship and technical insight into new software components.
• Develop software in multiple languages, including but not limited to C++, Java, Typescript.
• Integrate software into larger systems in engineering and test labs
• This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in Westford, MA.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of prior work experience.
• Experience with Linux Java/C++ development with a focus on application scalability and performance.
• This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in Westford, MA.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance post-start is preferred. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• BS degree in Software Engineering or a related major is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
• Algorithm development and/or implementation (imaging, navigation, communication, etc.)
• Familiarity with imaging systems, control systems, navigation, or ISR.
• BS degree in Software Engineering or a related major is HIGHLY PREFERRED.• Experience with estimating software tasks for extended periods of time (i.e. longer than 12 months).
• Experience interacting with internal organizations and disciplines.• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Machine Learning concepts.• Experience with GPU Programming.
• Ability and desire to facilitate team growth and knowledge transfer.
• Communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
