Job Description:
A Mid-level Business Systems Analyst typically plays a key role in analyzing and designing information systems to meet the needs of an organization. Responsibilities may include:
Gathering and documenting business requirements for new systems or system enhancements.
Analyzing existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
Designing and developing system specifications, prototypes, and data models.
Leading meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
Developing and executing test plans to ensure system quality and functionality.
Providing support and troubleshooting assistance for system issues.
Developing user documentation and training materials.
Collaborating with developers and other team members to implement solutions.
Leading small to medium-sized projects or workstreams within larger projects.
Staying current with industry trends and developments in business systems analysis.
A Mid-level Business Systems Analyst should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. They should be able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
Provide technical Oracle database and GoldenGate expertise and support for maintaining performance and reliability of enterprise database solutions. Undertake database projects requiring specialized technical knowledge. Makes well-thought-out decisions on moderately complex or ambiguous database issues and effectively develops, presents and implements . Collaborate efficiently and proactively within team and with other teams to improve reliability, optimize costs, enforce standards and compliance, and support requests from customers. Participate in on-call rotation, effectively troubleshoot issues to prevent and resolve incidents. Must have enterprise experience supporting, building, documenting, monitoring and maintaining Oracle databases and GoldenGate, performance analysis and capacity planning. Will need experience working with Unix type operating systems, shell scripting and of course be strong with writing, troubleshooting and optimizing SQL queries.
